Sprachcaffe Madrid – Spanish School
Description
Madrid, capital of Spain, is a city with an well conserved
architectonic frame, where audacious and futurist artistic
manifestations have appeared in just a short time. Here,
the most rooted traditions and the most dynamic changes
of Modern times can be observed. In Madrid countless examples
of the Spanish cultural work can be found: in the Museum
of Prado, only comparable to the Louvre, you will be able
to enjoy walking between the works of the great Masters
of the painting. But it is not necessary to forget the
less solemn places of the city: the great outdoors market
on Sundays, and the “Rastro", in which you
will live the city and its inhabitants. The school is
located in the Arenal street , just a couple of minutes
from Puerta del Sol.

The spanish courses
are standard (4 daily lessons, 20 per week) or Intensive
(6 daily lessons, 30 per week). Also it offers a one to
one Course, of 20 or 30 lessons per week, as well as a

Activities
Among the many opportunities
to relax that Madrid offers, we can speak about the
famous "triangle of the art": the Museum of
the Prado, the Art Museum Queen Sofía, with a collection
of contemporary art and works of Dalí, Miró,
Picasso, etc; and, finally, the Museum Thyssen-Bornemiza,
the greatest private collection of art of the world, that
includes works from the 13th to the 20th centuries. The
Royal Palace, old residence of the kings of Spain and
Plaza Mayor (Main Square, 13th century), historical and
social center of the city, and one of most beautiful of
Spain, should also be visited. Taking a walk through the
street market “El Rastro”, having “tapas”,
or visiting the many breweries, cafés, restaurants
and clubs are other good options.
