Description
The Bay of Cadiz is located in the South of Spain, in
the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. One of the eight
provinces that compose Andalusia is Cadiz, bordered by
the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean
Sea. The Port of Santa Maria is the neuralgic point of
the Bay of Cadiz. The school is a private training center
located in this Port. The area of studies is focused specially
to the administrative areas, the secretarial courses,
computer science and languages.
Lodging
Three different types of lodging are offered: in shared
apartments, hotels and families houses. It includes the
lodging and board during the time of the course.
Academics
The studies are focused in the student’s preparation
of the Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera
(D.E.L.E.).To obtain it, the student has to pass an exam
from the Spanish embassies of each country. According
to the previous knowledge of the language, students are
assigned to any of the four levels. These four levels
correspond to the qualifications that Bay of Cadiz grants
the students who attend their courses and pass the exams.
That is the way the student can obtain his Certificates
of Spanish like Foreign Language.
Activities
During the year, the school develops a program of cultural
activities, including visits to museums, exhibitions,
theatre plays, flamenco... On the weekends, students can
choose other places to visits. Within the program of the
Spanish course and for a better knowledge of the area,
different trips are made, one per week, and already included
in the price of the course.
