Description
Madrid is world famous by its old cafés and their
cosy bars and restaurants, full of life 24 hours a day.
The huge cultural supply, that includes from concert halls
and opera to well known museums, through theaters with
a sophisticated atmosphere, all combined with the architectonic
splendour of the last centuries, make the visitor return
to Madrid again and again. The language and culture center
is located in an historical building in the heart of Madrid,
closely together of the most interesting places of the
city: Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor (Main Square), the Royal
Palace, and other tourist attractions.
Lodging
The available lodgings include a host family house specially
selected by Contact, an apartment to share completely
furnished and near the academy, private apartments, pensions
or hotels.
Academic
Students can choose between these courses: intensive,
summer, Literature and Discussion, Commercial Spanish,
DELE tests preparation, individual, language and also
another activity (golf, painting and drawing, yoga, photograph,
ski and others).
Activities
The first day of the course is made a guided visit to
the city, also thematic strolls such as the Madrid of
the Austrias, legends of old Madrid, the Park of Retiro,
palaces, convents, exhibitions and museums. Also theater,
music and dance shows. Workshops of Spanish cuisine, conferences
of history, politics, society or culture of Spain and
Latin America, literary workshop of Spanish and Latin
American authors.
