Description
Madrid, capital of Spain, is a city full of contrasts,
where the old city mixes its old character with modern
architecture. The school is located in the downtown with
easy access to the public transport.
Lodging
Different types of lodging are offered (family houses,
shared apartments, residences, hotels), rigorously chosen
and controlled, that are always near the Center (20/30
minutes on foot from the school).
Academics
There are courses all the year. The school never closes.
The minimum duration of a course is one week, with a
maximum of 8 students by group and an average of 5/6
students. There are 12, 22 or 30 classes of 55 minutes
each one per week. The afternoons of Wednesdays are
destined to learn more respect to the Spanish culture.
In all the courses students study individually and soon
have the four basic competitions: reading, writing,
speaking and listening. In addition to these abilities,
the grammar structure is emphasized, so that the student
can reach the complete dominion of the language.
Activities
The school organizes visits to museums, churches and
emblematic areas of Madrid. These strolls are generally
free. The students receive the monthly program of cultural
activities and an informative folder the first day of
class. There the date of the excursions is indicated
and if the activity is free or not. The activities are
made to afternoon throughout the week and Saturdays
the students can make guided trips with a teacher.
